Problem With Post On Facebook

I am trying to put a post on facebook with coloured background..when I have put in 5 lines & 39 characters the post leaves the coloured page & reverts to white post..any help please?

I think you'll find that it's a standard feature of Facebook which prevents enormous posts of this nature (but I may be wrong).

Shorten your post is the only thing that works.

Or create the post elsewhere as a jpeg and then post that instead

39 characters seemed way too low, so I checked - copied and pasted from the following link:
