When I click on some links I get the following error message:

400 Bad Request
Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request.

I am using Google Chrome - any ideas? Its only started happening since yesterday and is across a variety of sites that I have been using regularly. I then get a box asking me to log in to google with a username and password but I can't ever remember setting one up or having to put anything in before.

Try a different browser. If that works then you will know the problem is with Chrome and you'll have to clear the cache, your history, disable extensions so that you can identify the cause

I just downloaded Firefox but the same thing happens - I had an email from Argos asking me to take a survey on a recent purchase but still getting the error message when I click on the link.
Does it happen on other webpages? It is possible the problem is at Argos' end

It happens on several pages - I have been looking at dog club sites and on most of them it does this. Never had a problem before yesterday.
