Can't Understand This At All

I have tried searching for a TV programme on my smart TV ITV Hub, and it's just not there, its called Trigger Point. Did a search but to no avail, yet I can watch it on the laptop, which doesn't make sense. Does it make sense to others?
I didn't know what category to put this in, so plumped for technology, but could be tv...

Don't know if this is the problem, but I've been getting messages on my TV for 2/3 weeks now about channels changing from one place to another it drives one up the wall having to keep re-tuning??

nope it's not that at all, ITV is on channel 3. i log into the smart tv, expecting to see ITV hub with trigger point listed on it, it's just not there, but as i said i can watch it on the laptop, which isn't what i want to do at all. I am stumped.

I tend to ignore a lot of Tec problems with TV and computer up to a point. Suppliers never admit to having problems and you find yourself spending all day trying to sort something out that isn't a fault on your side. I now switch off do something else and try the next day, and find its fixed. :0)

I can see it on the ITV hub.
I used the search and there are 2 episodes.

Strange, emmie. My TV has an A-Z search facility and as soon as I type in "T R" it comes up top of the list. When I go to the ITV Hub is is top of that feature too.

Just also checked on my tablet and phone. It is definitely there. The problem is at your end.
Try updating the app. Or delete it and re-install.

i tried again, switched on TV then itv tv hub it ain't on there.... i have given up watching trigger point, it's not on a par with other cop type shows.

On my Samsung TV, I went into ITV hub.
It is there as the featured programme on the home page.

Try rebooting your TV and router.

On my Samsung TV, Trigger Point didn't appear when I first searched, having not specified my location (postcode). However, it did appear after I set my location to the first half of my postcode, so make sure that you have set your location.

Trigger Point was also shown in 'Top Picks' (after I had set my location). I've just cleared my location (in Settings) and Trigger Point now doesn't show, so I definitely think it's to do with your location not being set, or set to a location where Trigger Point isn't available.

sussed it by signing out, creating a new account on the ITV Hub, and now it's fine. Don't understand why i needed to do it but thanks for all the help.

Your laptop computer accesses the ITV Hb via a website.
TVs, Phones and tablets access the ITV Hub via an app.
The apps are identified by the logo icons. Clicking on those opens the requested app.

On your TV’s smartTV, go to the settings (sometimes a cog symbol) and there should be a section for apps. Here you can update apps, move them, delete them or re-install them.

You seem to have a problem with the ITV Hub app, so first try to update it and see that solves the problem. If it doesn’t delete it and reinstall the newest version.
