Whats Better Than Libre Office?
1 Answers
Aside from Word & Open Office.
I use Libre but just wondering if there are any better options that are just not as well known?
There is just soooo much software out there - for all sorts of things - that gets overlooked because theyre not a famous name, but sometimes when i've tried a few I've found them better - or as good as the famous ones.
Any recommendations?
Thanks :)

On my own PC, I've got OpenOffice, LibreOffice and Softmaker FreeOffice (which I'm also very impressed with):

For anything requiring advanced graphic design though (such as leaflets, flyers, posters, etc), it's always better to use fully-fledged DTP software than a word processing program. Scribus takes a bit of time to get to grips with (as does any DTP software) but it's an excellent alternative to QuarkXPress (which would set you back $259 per year for a subscription):
