Keyboard Lock On A Dell Precision M6800

I mean to lock all the keys and touchpad completely until i specifically choose to unlock it.

I dont want it to unlock just because i touch any key or the pad

Does anyone know how to do this on this model?

I can't seem to find answers

TTT - how cruel; you might tell him how to unlock it otherwise he's stuck if he tries it.

when you touch the kb it will ask for your password, assuming you have set up one.

yes i know that one, but i just want to lock the keyboard but leave the screen visible.

i had a computer years ago that had a little button near the touchpad, that just disabled the keyboard, nothing else - you could still see the desktop, still watch audio & video etc, but you could have pressed every key and nothing would have happened.

thats what i want - any ideas?
