...keeps disconnecting. The indicator goes red for a bit, before yellow and back to green when it allows me to reconnect. Any ideas - mate said virus, but scan revealed nothing? The Indians at Tiscali's help line are no help, they only say what they're told to say. That's not racist, just a true reflection on cheap foreign labour.

Do you have any thepephone sockets in the house that dont have a filter in it. I got Tiscali and had one phone socket that I forgot in the bedroom. Disconnected the phone and all was well. SKy TV connection also needs a filter.

You have probably done all this but sometimes the simple things are the things forgotten.

I had to have a new modem installed (after having telephone engineers round to check the line) Now it's fine oh and I don't have phone filters on every phone.
