My Sat Nav Address....

...does not show, although my next door neighbour's does. How do I rectify this?

Does it matter? My sat nav shows my home address as the nearby pub. That way, if my car is stolen with my satnav in it, the thief won't know where I live and try his luck assuming the house is empty.

Sat Nav target address generally, or your literal home address ?

If the latter, advise your neighbour to try to delete his. If the former, that's strange. Maybe you need to specify make/model and see if anyone knows.

Why do you need a satnav to find your own house?

He's not a homing pigeon, he needs to find his way home if he's in an unfamiliar place. I tell my satnav to take me home, and it does. Well, to the pub on the corner of my road.

Like Barry, I put the nearest pub, just along the road from us, as my home address. Never ever put your exact location in.

As postocdes cover a spread of houses/business over perhaps a hundred yards or so then that is probably as near as you are going to get.

Sat Navs are not exactly accurate, my satnav will go to my road but not my house. I would forget it and treat it as inaccurate technology.
