Hi there wonder if anyone can help me?

I've recently downloaded an .avi file and so went to play it via real player and it wouldn't work - it then went to the internet to search for update however was unsuccesful so would not play. After this i tried it on Windows Media player where it played the sound but not the movie and did not search for updates - Has this happened to anyone else and if so can you play it through any other player??

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a missing CODEC to me.

Download the KLITE full pack from here - http://www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Codec_Pack_download.htm

This should then let you play the file in Media Player (or any other player you like).
