Have you tried re booting it?
Turning it off at the mains and unplugging the aerial socket.
I'm sure you have but my daft old mum is always messing hers up and thats what i do to hers and it usually does the trick.
LOL...I agree with Gary.....but it seems to me that not only his mum's does this.....press a button at the wrong time and mine freezes too........just switching off at the plug does the trick for me....commoner ;-)

Andy, if you've got the booklet that came with the box, call the helpline - I've found they're usually pretty helpful, (and if they don't know what's up, who will?).

Also (obvious, I know) check all the leads are secure. Better still, take each one out and check there's nothing wrong with them, and that they're fitted correctly (you might just have repositioned one while you were trying to get it working, then forgot you'd done it - I usually manage to do that...). Oh, and the remote - check the batteries. I was on the phone for about 20 minutes to cable one time with the bloke trying everything he knew to get it back up and running - eventually he asked me to get the remote from the other room and try that (from another box), and it worked... batteries! Don't know who felt more foolish, him or me...
