Buying an ipod video in the USA

im going to New Yor in 2 weeks and have been thinking about buying an ipod video while im over there. But im not sure that when i get back to the UK that it will work on my computer.


And if it will work, should i buy a charger for it over there or will one from here work?

Generally the iPod is charged via the USB port used to connect it to your PC (in fact you won't get a wall charger with it). It should work fine as it is exactly the same model.



yes, it definitely will work fine.

even if your iPod comes with a power connector (to an actual plug over the USB charging method), this is a universal adapter and accepts the "plug end" bit (with the 3 prongs, or more likely 2 prongs in america) as a clip on thing. so i think you would be easily able to order either a replacement power adapter, or just the "plug end" bit on its own (less likely i'd have thought).
