i've just downloaded firefox on my lap top ,but when i try to access a few sites they won't load,for example ebay and tv tome ,with ebay ,when i type the address in the address bar it comes up in the bottom left corner waiting for ebay ,but the page stays white and dos'nt load ,the same happens when i try to click on from the shortcut on my desktop ,some one help please!!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt that your problem has anything to do with Firefox or your laptop. From time to time the internet seems to have major problems that last for a day or two. This evening, I've not been able to access the Open Office site or any of Google's cached pages. I've also posted a link to a site which I could access without problems but another ABer couldn't get into.

Don't panic! Just be patient. You'll probably find everything returns to normal fairly soon.

just a thought, not an expert with firefox but if it's loading in the bottom left corner..isn't that the download toolbar plug-in that you're looking at? thats where mine was when i tried firefox anyway...good luck

Check out your firewall software. If Firefox is prevented from accessing the internet, then it won't be able to load any pages from the internet(!).
