i used to record from tv with theses disks but now i keep getting a message saying i cant any ideas how to rectify this

Give more details - make of DVD recorder, brand of DVD RW. I got some from Comet at a good price but some of them were faulty. Took them back and got a replacement. The colour of the dye on the faulty ones was very much darker than normal. What error message do you get?
