VOIP phone sytem problems

Hi guys, i currently use aol 2mb broadband, to which i have connected a wirless router, and i have connected the freetalk voip system to the wan connection on the wireless router,


but the only problem is that the normal BT phone-line that is have installed throught which the broadband is accessed has detiorated greatly, (just about audible), any idea guys,


im thinkin that i have possibly connected to many things to the phone line, any help would be greatly appreciated?
