i am having problems downloading things from limewire it never finds what im searching for and my quality connection is allways down

I had the same problem using Limewire & LimewirePro. Read a few comments on this site & most people advise you to steer clear of Limewire.

On the contrary, I find limewire to be about the best P2P client (I'm not counting BitTorrent as a client nor a P2P system here).

Assuming you're on broadband cheeky, make sure you have no firewall blocking access to it. Also, if you have a router or something between your computer and your internet connection, make sure this also lets limewire's data through too.
