do the model numbers of phones go up in quality the higher the number?
such as is an 6210 better than a 6100 ?

I think the first number is related to the group of phones then the next the specific phone and then the last to do with features.

models starting with 3 tend to be the lower range, with less features (for those that just want a phone without too many extras). models starting with a 6 are generally business phones. 7*** models tend to be like the 6's, but a bit flashier. and the special ranges tend to have completely different naming schemes: the N90, N70, etc. (all part of the same range).
