SD cards for MP3 player...

How do these work, do you have to load the songs directly onto the card (and if so how?) or do you just insert it and tranfer music to the player as normal for the extra memory to be available? Also approximately how much are SD cards (like 128mb, 512mb etc) and how many songs will fit onto one? Thanks.

512MB is about 120 songs, roughly.

It might depend on the mp3 player itself, but generally you can either use a card reader (that accepts SD cards) to load the music straight to the card, or probably use the USB cable that would have come with the mp3 player to transfer onto the card.
