Hi all,
I've just bought myself a wireless router. I've set it up using WPA encryption and everything seems to be working fine. However, when I look in my router's setup there are three computers that have been allocated IP addresses two of which are my two computers but the third is one I don't recognise! Does anyone know of any software that will allow me to scan the wireless network to see if anyone is trying to connect to it who shouldn't be? Any advice would be appreciated.

The third computer which has at sometime or other connected to my network has the following info:
Host Name: new-host-2
MAC address: 00:11:50:a3:10:26

The computer name new-host-2 isnt one of mine and neither is the MAC address one that I have.

The IP address of the router is 192.168.2.1. The IP address of new-host-2 is 192.168.2.4
Do you have a wireless Palm?
Question Author
No - I've no other wireless equipment other than my two computers.

Thanks very much spacechimp!
It's more an article about setting up the network securely, I hope this is OK?

just click the free button, wait for the timer to reach zero, enter the security code and then it's like a normal download site.
Question Author
Thanks spacechimp. Having problems downloading the file. I enter the code and set "session invalid". I must be doing something wrong...
