I recently had a DVD made of a skydive I did. I am now trying to do 2 things. 1- Make a copy of it on my hard drive (I've got a MAC) so I can put it on my ipod video and 2- Understand a bit more about DVD files.
When I try to make a copy of it I get a message saying I do not have sufficient privaleges for some of the items. Can I get round this?
The DVD file is made up of 2 folders, video_rm and video_ts each containing various files. Neither of their respctive sizes and up to make the total file size of the DVD. Can anyone explain this mystery to me please!!

The Video_Ts directory on your DVD stores the DVD movie files. They should be in .VOB format and you should be able to open any of them in your DVD playing software.

Not sure about MAC software but if you can get your hands on a PC for a little while visit www.slysoft.com as they do a trial of a product called CloneDVD mobile which will create a Video IPOD file from your DVD.

Good Luck
