Having recently fled the nest I have decided I can't live without broadband at home. I have a broadband line and telephone and digital line already installed in the building as it a new set of apartments with all the line installed but what do I need to do from there. I have no telephone number and as I'm the first person to live there I assume I need some sort of line from BT first but what do I do and hoew much is it going to cost?

well you can just contact BT (they'll have a number of their website), and you need to get some sort of phone line with them. Then you can choose any ADSL provider (broadband). BT do their own, but you can also choose others like Tiscali (cheaper). I use them while at my uni house, and have no problems with them. But others do.

However, your first port of call perhaps should be any official contact you have regarding the building, if you have one.
