How can I set a password on a floppy disk? thanks in advance

You can't really, best bet would be to put the files in a zip via winzip and set a password on that.
also, consider buying a flash drive to use, instead of a floppy disk. floppy's are very old technology, and frequently go wrong.

That also stores about 88 times more than a floppy. As long as the computers you use have a USB port (pretty much all do now), you're good to go.
