The only problem is I didn't call it anything agent4 I am still learning I was just playing a record from my HI-FI to my computer but still don't know how to get it on to the hard drive and then from the hard drive to a CD-RW anyway thanks for your help.

Could use some more info to be able to help you:

  • Which software did you use to record the LP?

  • Did it ask you to save the file after you recorded it? If so, it must have given a default name... can you remember what that might have been?

If you just used the basic Windows recording utility, it's likely that the files was saved as a WAV file. Do as agent4 suggests, using as your search string the following:

*.wav

That will find all occurrences of WAV files on your hard drive.
