Since having my pc 'de-bugged', every time I switch it on, the printer prints out one or two pages of technical info, starting

Pri. Master Disk HDD S.M.A.R.T. capability...Enabled etc. etc. etc.

Does any one know how I can stop this. Even the technician who did the work has no idea what is causing it.

Please help, it is costing a fortune in paper!

I don't have the answer I'm afraid but I have a similar problem. Every time I switch my printer on it prints out a 'printer alignment page' just as annoying and paper wasting. Surely it doesn't need to align itself every time?

what software did you the "technician" use to tune up your PC?

I'm guessing it was PC Pitstop - this reads the info stored in the BIOS and prints it. It usually does it just once when requested but maybe there's an error which is causing it to do it everytime????

Let me know if this solves it.

Zebuk, I have tried uninstalling my printer and scanner, to no avail.

I may try the technician again.
