Hi I am trying to set the USB COM port for my father in laws oldish LG phone (LG8138) and cannot find one with an asterix to set. The "help guide" doesn't give me any ideas, I have changed to another USB port and that didn't make any difference. I get all the programmes loading but cannot communicate with the phone as I cannot find this COM port. Hope someone can help?

Some devices are really fussy about the USB port that you use, and particularly dislike the ones on the front panel, so if you haven't already done so, try connecting to a port at the back.
