Flickering screen

When I try to run World Series Of Poker 2005, the graphics are continually flickering, rendering the game unplayable. Any ideas why it would do this? and any way to fix it?

Just an idea but it could be something to do with your Graphics card - have you tried slowing down the graphics to see if this helps - try
Control Panel>Display>Settings>advanced - and on the slider bring it back a notch.
Also could try running a check on DirectX (might not be relevant but at least it will show if its all installed OK)
GO to RUN Option and typd DXDIAG, this will show all the settings.
At least you may be able to rule these out?

Thanks, I'll try slowing the graphics down. PC is about 5yrs old, so may be having trouble. DirectX should be OK - downloaded latest version to see if that would help
