Music onto ipod shuffle

Hi - could anyone tell me how I can put music onto my ipod shuffle. Am only able to do a random autofill at present but unfortunately am unable to choose songs and put them on.

You need to create a playlist using itunes and then you can then copy this across directly to the shuffle.

sorry , select create playlist ,at bottom left, .open empty list drag & drop songs from library to create list . open ipod from "source" & autofill from <name of playlist>
