While looking through my program files, I appear to have gained one called UNWISE, 160 Kb. It states that it has been on my PC since 2004, although I don't recall ever having seen it before. Does anyone out there have any idea what this might be ? Any help would be gratefully received.

Many thanks

It is an uninstaller - a file associated with software that has been loaded on to your hard drive.

If you do a search for unwise.exe you may find several instances, each associated to different software.
It's a part of the WISE installer (probably the second most common installer after InstallShield) which developers use to package up thir programs for installation, so it's perfectly normal and safe. Fr. S
