how do u paste?

could anyone please tell me how u paste from the run cmd panel that black screen type thingy u get up i need to paste some results from it n cant figure out how to do it . thanks in advance

In Windows XP :

Right click, select Mark, highlight the area you want by click and drag (ie, hold down left mouse button and drag), then right click again.

sorry to sound thick here (lol) but once youve done that how do u paste it i need to attach it to email how do u know its been pasted should it copy out thank u

ok elled--once u have copied the bits u want from "that black screen thingy"--its actually called the dos screen--old fashioned way of communicating with computers--anyway open something like word--notepad--wordpad or any other word processor u use and paste it into that--go to file/paste and that should do it--then save the file where u want and with whatever name u want--then when u r sending ur email send that file as an attachment--post again if u have problems--cheers--arthur
