I have recorded 3 programmes onto a +rw disc but need to delete one of them. Having checked the manual (Bush DVHRSO2) the only facility is to erase the whole disc. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to delete just one programme or is it just bad luck that my recorder does not have this facility. Thanks.

My dvd recorder has an edit function so I can delete one frame or as much as like.

Has your dvd got a hard drive?
As long as your DVD recorder has a hard drive, your best bet is to transfer the programmes back to the hard drive, delete the unwanted programme via editing and burn the disc again.

If the DVD recorder does not have a hard drive, I think you're stuck unless you transfer the disc contents to a PC and edit and burn from there.

Thanks ethel. No i don't have a hard drive. I do have an edit facility where you can delete chapter markers but that's not the same as deleting a whole programme, or is it. Thanks.
You could make a note of the chapters that you want to delete and try it that way.
