missing loading bar

i am missing the loading bar on the internet.It is just missing from the owner not guest account.

I suspect its a virus but would like to no if there is a way to get it back.When i open the internet it covers the taskbar at the bottom.

Any advice much appreciated.

I got the status bar back but cant stop the internet from covering the task bar.

find a space on the task bar and right click then choose properties--make sure "keep the task bar on top of other widows" is checked

Not quite sure what you mean by loading bar. If you mean the address bar at the top, you may have just inadvertently closed it. Use the cursor over it, see if if changes to a double pointer and if so drag down. Also check on the properties of the taskbar (right click on it)

Do the same with the taskbar - there is the option to hide it in the properties.

One final suggestion, resize your web page manually so that when it comes up, it only covers the screen you want it to cover.
