Has anyone out there ever changed an ipod battery? have bought one from maplins with instructions and two tools to help open it. It does state on the packet that it is quite tricky but as much as I've tried, I cant even begin to open the case. Any help would be great cheers

A tip for 3G iPods is to squeeze the middle of the back. This slightly pops the sides open so you can insert the tools and slide them towards the corners.

Other generations of iPod may require other "tricks".

Perhaps this site may offer further instructions to those supplied by Maplin.
