emzylou21, the music on your ipod is a mirror of what was in your library on your old PC so if you plug your ipod into another PC, itunes will ask you if you want to replace your current library (songs on your ipod) with songs from the new itunes, if you click yes then all your current tracks will be erased and replaced with the ones from the new itunes library, so click NO, you then need to enable DISK USE in the options menu, this will allow you to browse your ipod as a removable drive in My Computer, drag and drop all your currrent library to a folder on your PC doing this you are saving all your tracks to import again later, now on another PC open itnes plug in your ipod and click yes to that question, this will erase all your current tracks but dont worry cos you just saved them, now click Import Folder on the File menu and browse to the location where you dragged all your old tracks to and import it back to your ipod.
what mullykid says is correct, but it's a long way round and more complicated than what yamipod does.
emzylou: iTunes itself does not let you copy from iPod to iTunes, only from iTunes to iPod. so, other people made some programs that can copy from a computer to the iPod, like you're after. one such program (and my personal favourite), is yamipod.
