limewire music videos

i hope you can help me, when i have downloaded a music video,and i put it into my itunes library,i can play the video in the library,but,when i want to put it into my ipod ,it wont recognise it and is not part of my vide list many thanks in advance,would i have to change the video format or something

the file type is probably not one that the ipod is familar with. if you are using limewire, it could download any type of file format. inorder to play it on the ipod, you must make sure it is in the correct format
