hi shazzabell,if i were you i wouldnt touch it with a bargepole.its full of spyware and virus,s.if you really want to use a program like that,try limewire or emule.but make sure your pc is fully updated with the latest software ie norton etc.otherwise you be open to all and sundry as i found out the hard way.hth dave

As far as I know, KazaaLite isn't available to download anymore. DO NOT download Limewire or Morpheus!

The original Kazaa is indeed full of adware. There is a patch available called Diet K (google it, it'll turn up. Try download.com), which you install after downloading the regular Kazaa. When you want to run Kazaa, you open Diet K. This enables you to use Kazaa as normal but blocks the adware and popups, all bar popups from one site, which is purely advertising, and not spyware.

Unfortunately, if you want a decent download program, you have to put up with some ads. They need to get money somehow. Use Diet K and you'll only get the occasional pop-up ad (most of which can be blocked, try the google toolbar).

It's available again - the original site hosting the download was closed down, but it's worked it's way back in again! I haven't tried this download yet but there are a couple of them out there, just search for kazaa lite on Google.
