Further to my e mail question.
How do you delete an e mail without opening it?

Depends what email system you're using.
I posted an answer on your previous question, which answered that - my answer being different from one of the others and explaining how to do it.

There seems to be some query on what you are using. If you are opening or reading on a web page, it doesn't really matter what you do, as until you download the actual mail, it cannot affect your PC in any way.

If downloaded, the answer given (right click, delete) is quite correct. Of course, that is assuming you are using outlook express - anything other than that I can't advise.
Of course, if you have "show the preview pane" enabled in Outlook Express, the act of right-clicking will open the e-mail. So you need to ensure that the preview pane is disabled before taking Postdog's advice
Just to clarify, Rojash is both right and wrong. If you do what I said as the answer to your other post and simply increase the preview time, you do NOT actually open the mail. If the delay is short, it will open the mail.
Sorry Postdog, but you seem to be confusing opening the mail with marking it as read. If you can see the body of the e-mail, then it's open!
