Dell Failure

My Dell inspiron 1150 refuses to start have power to the computer any suggestions please

I think this is a laptop, is it?
How do you know its getting POwer? Are there any lights on?
Have you checked the Fuse in the Plug (no point if there are lights on the laptop and unlikely to be blown, but if no sign of life worth checking)

Is it under warentee? If so might be worth contacting Dell.

yes it is a laptop there is a light on the front panel that blinks have taken out hard drive and memory and put back in but still no luck
