Nokia 7610 txting picture messages

I have a Nokia 7610 phone, Orange pay as you go. This is the first camera phone I've had. I'm trying to send a picture via txt to a friend but it won't send.

I do have credit and his phone does support the format, so that's not the problem.

The phone used to be my husband's company phone and I know they have it blocked for picture txting, but I thought that applied to the account rather than the phone, but I'm beginging to think I'm wrong! How can I unblock it?
