Whats Zango

I was on my laptop when something popped up and said I had loaded a search engine called zango but I wasnt aware that I had done it, how do I get rid of it. Is it some kind of spy thingy?

Removing it is relatively straightforward - just get yourself a copy of Spybot:

- Once it's installed, go to the update tab and ask it to search for updates. Then select all those shown and hit the "Download updates" button.
- Run the software to find anything on your machine.
- Select all the stuff you want to remove (anything shown should be ok to remove).
- Finally, go to the "Immunise" section which blocks out a whole pile of stuff from ever getting on there.
Should hopefully keep the other rubbish that 180Solutions (makers of Zango) and other spyware makers try to add onto your machine too.
