zipped file lost!

Help !!!! hi all can anybody tell me where i ahve went wrong!
First off i downloaded my pics from cam and i hightlighted them then i right click on that and i went to "send to" and compressed (zipped) folder, which i done. and i thought they would still be in my pics bit some where and tonight i cant find them! most annoyed!
I then went onto search for them and when i run the search i keep getting the following.
" the instruction at "0x0404ae27" referenced memory at "0x0000003d" the memorycould not read..click on ok to terminate the programe .click on cancel to debug programme. if i click ok the follwing says the instruction at 0x7c350582 reference memory at 0x00000000 the memory could not read! anybody out there can help me? thanks alinic

How did you try to search for them?

Try searching for all *.zip files on your computer:

Start -> Search -> All files and folders -> More advanced options -> Type of file: Compressed (zipped) Folder -> Search.

(Leave 'All or part of file name' blank)
