Hi guys,which sat-nav would you recommend the tomtom one or the garmin nuvi 300

I wouldn't know, but I subscribe to 'Which' magazine, and the garmin nuvi was one of their best buys.

defo the tom tom one ive had both and travel for a living couldnt live without it .....

I borrowed my Dad's Tom Tom Go, it was the cheapest one they did.
It took me through Manchester and straight to the place I was after without a problem. It was great.
Even when I missed a turnoff it figured it out and changed the route.
Dead easy to use and nice big icons on the touch screen.

Don't know how it compares to other makes though as it's the only one I've ever used.
