Msn messenger question

Hi i tried to set up file sharing on two machines networked together a while back but all of a sudden msn messenger would not work on both machines couldnt log me in but the internet and everything worked fine"?"?!" anyone know what could be wrong?

it could be your gateway that's causing the problem . it,s happened to me and my wife several times we just close both pcs down and turn off the socket for 5 mins . when we turn back on it's usually ok
