I'm very new to all this so I hope I don't sound too dumb. Anyway, can anyone tell me how to clear the history dropdown and how do I get java script ?

tools internet options clear history cant help you with the other,

Erm.. question is a little sketchy but sounds like you want to clear the history of your Internet Explorer, and also enable java in the same program.

� Select Tools -> Internet Options.
� Open the General tab, click "Clear history".

In terms of "Java Script", you don't get that from anywhere, its a type of information read by your browser to perform certain functions. Sometimes it may be disabled, to turn it on follow the steps above, clicking on the "Privacy" tab and adjusting the settings.
