Have just installed dvd drive from one comp to another and when i try to play dvd's through it now the picture is coming up split screen and green...am not sure if it's because of the player program i'm using or if i've damaged or not connected drive properly...do i possibly need to install a driver for it?

Have you installed the correct codecs
Question Author
how do i do that and is it free?
Missed this out of my previous answer. You can check if the drivers are installed by going to device manager.
the codec you need will depend on the type of file you are trying to play. two programs which can help you to determine the codecs are -AVI Codec and Gspot. both can be found on the web and are free. If you need to find Codecs ,these can be found for free as well. Nimo codec pack is a good start.
