cardboard a health hazard

i work in a "clean room" and have been told that cardboard boxes which are not allowed in the room can contain tetanus spores and informed today that its carcinogenic ! well that news to me that means 90% of packages and freight are going round Britain in cancer causing containers i think not who's kidding who any ideas

not sure if its connected,

but i work in catering, and we arent aloud to keep cardboard in a fridge, nothing cardboard can be used as a container for food that is in a fridge..

i thought it was strange to start with, but then, its used to store the food in god knows what kind of conditions from where it is packaged to where it ends up,

it may be just a simple contamination risk that they cant control?

going to ask the boss what evidence he has that this can be carcinogenic, sure wet or damp cardboard will hold bacteria to a point,will let u know on here later
