My friend is having problems with their computer.They cannot open Internet Explorer,a message comes up saying there is an error on the side bar.
Anyone know what has happened and how they can fix this?

Might be a good idea to tell us what operating system and what version of IE.

Have they downloaded the new IE7 recently or still using IE v6 ?

one way thry could fix ALL these problems and future problems would be to download "Mozzila Firefox."

Not only is it faster and more effecient on your hard drive ,but also as most virus are written for IE you will find that it also has security benefits.

I started using Firefox a few months ago after a number of tedious problems like the one you�re having with IE. I can tell you that IE7 is actually worse than IE6 in my view. Does funny things to the format of some pages too.

As for IE, I suspect the only way to fix your problem is to uninstall and reinstall. There�s no reason why you couldn�t have both and see which one you prefer.
