amstrad e-mailer

hi, have an amstrad e-mailer, got my last months phone bill and the mailer has been ringing amstrads server for e-mails every day at about 20p per go. this means I am paying �1.40 a week for the privilage of using the phone .I use my computer for mail. any ideas on how to stop it dialling out?
