What is the low-down on the Nintento Wii?

Is the console rated well and are there good games available for it?
Does the new controller work as well as it looks.
Any good offers about?
Will it sell out before xmas do u think or will it still be around in the shops???

I doubt Nintendo would put their entire livelyhood on the line with a controller that doesn't work, but until I have played with it I wont know.

It depends on your definition of good games, I think they look brilliant but I like a bit of nintendo, I'm not sure about driving FPS type games but we will see how it goes.

As for running out.... I think it might well do there are already stories of supplies running low, I think that may have something to do with the delay of the PS3 and the low cost of the Wii.

I think on the whole it depends on what you want, if it's a toss up between a 360/PS3 and a Wii I think you would be disappointed with the WIi. But if the controller and games look fun to you I think it would be a winner.
