Uploading photos

Help! I'm trying to upload a jpeg photo of my puppies onto a website but I havent a clue what I'm doing - can anyone help in simpletons terms? Thanks!

I basically dont even know where to start it gives me the option to upload a photo but when I browse my files and find the right one I cant get it to work - all it does is enter the location of the file

if there is a browse button on the website and you find the right picture - then click 'open' at the bottom of the box and it should go straight to the website

or just double click the selected picture.
