PC World TV Advert: Laptops �199. I went to shop to buy one and was told only the first 10 customers in shop were eligible. The same goes for tomorrow.!! No mention of that on Advert.!! What a sly way to get people to go to store.

And I know of one person, third in the queue from 6am.

No laptop for him! They hold sold ten by the time he got in the door. How can this be?

Did the first person in the queue buy all ten?

He was told to try again tomorrow.

He has since found out that the laptops are rubbish specs and not really worth the effort.

My Mrs works 2 doors along from our local PC world and apparently staff can reserve these for themselves or family, great eh?

pc world are useless, there was a program about how cr4p their customer service is etc, none of the staff know anything about computers... rubbish

The Gadget Show did a report just a week or two ago, and were pleasantly surprised by the knowledge of the staff.

sounds like false advertising to me...but at that price it would be a pile of cr@p!

Staff were OK,Ethel,very polite and helpful, felt a bit sorry for them, as people were getting very irate,not their fault.

And tottaly agree with everbody on here was looking for a new laptop and saw there advert and had to laugh out very loud what a ******* con but suppose its just a bit like newspapers advertising that they are going to give away free dvd,s just take the coupon to your local tesco store etc etc to be told that 15 minutes after the store has openend "sorry sir the they have all gone" one day they might cotton on to the fact that most people are not stuiped.
