How do I stop my page 1 header from appearing on all the other pages?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Headers and footers will always appear on every page in the same section of each document. To achieve your aim you must divide page 1 and the rest of the document into different sections:
Place the cursor at the end of page 1.
Go to Insert > Break.
Under 'Section break types', choose 'Next page'.
Click 'OK'.
(If your document already has a common header on all pages, you can now delete it from page 2. It will also disappear from all other pages in the same section but not from page 1).
