Lexmark are being heavily advertised over the holiday. Are they a good buy? Does anyone have any recommendations for which is best in the under 100 range please? The colour cartridge arrangement (one cartridge for all or separate colours) sounds quite important. Any advice appreciated.

Hi, I have an all-in-one Lexmark X5150. It cost around 100 then, but I'm sure it would be cheaper now. I've had the model for about 2 years and it has never let me down. I would definitely recommend Lexmark. You'll need separate cartridges, just for black and white/colour.
I have had a Lexmark X2350 for about a year now and it has served me well although I haven't used it yet to print photographs. It takes a colour cartridge No 1 which I cantfrom Staples at 23 for two. That machine coupled with using Inksave, saving from 25 to 75%, has served me well. When I bought it , it cost me around 30 to 40.
Lexmark consumables are overpriced
I recommend HP - Never had any problems with them
I bought a Cannon all in one last year and its brill. Had no probs with it, quality good and the colour & black cartridges are much more reasonably priced than the others
